I am happy to announce a new co-op internship position with Brain Frame! Brain Frame is a bi-monthly performative comix reading series. Brain Frame encourages interdisciplinary performance and experimental approaches to whatever you imagine a “comix reading” to be. Brain Frame is a unique venue for comix-related expression, and a warm environment that facilitates community building and collaboration.

Brain Frame’s intern will gain invaluable experience in low-budget event organization, including writing press releases and logistical emails, setting up and breaking down audio-visual equipment, maintaining several social media platforms, and being kind and responsible towards all parties involved. The intern will have the opportunity to screen print posters and assist in comix performances. The intern will also spend a lot of time reading comics.
